I have seen this button on a few blogs lately and thought I might join in on this one. The original comes from The Un Mom, but I picked it up actually from Sprite's Keeper, Us and Them, and Mommy's Escape 6.0 who probabally don't even know I read their blogs in the first place. If you don't your should check them out, they are all awesome! (Hey am I getting better at linky love or what?)
The idea I guess is to take all of these little thoughts floating around in you head that are not quite important enough to become a long drawn out blog post, but things you just can't let go. I guess for me it also gives me a topic to blog about seeing as how I am new at this blogging thing and all, so here goes.
Take all the hugs that are offered, even if you are blogging at the time.
I wish I had a way to record all the random thoughts floating around in my head as I drive, if I did then this post would be cake to write, I don't however so now I am going to have to see if I can remember any of them from the last week.
If you have a good in-home licensed daycare be thankful. We do, and I am. This comes up this week because my daughter started preschool at a daycare center yesterday, and the place is packed with kids (at the proper level of teacher/kid ratio, I checked). I keep wondering how do they keep track of everyone? How is she going to learn anything? But on the other hand, at our inhome daycare she was at the top level of what our provider could give. So it was a good move but I guess any change when it comes to my kids just tends to freak me out!
Never underestimate the power of siblings, Little Brother sat at daycare yesterday morning and just cried quietly because he missed his sister! The visual picture of that just makes me so sad. He is a sensitive boy and this is the first time he has been without his sister at the daycare. He will be o.k as he has 2 other boys his own age to play with and now his sister won't be bossing him around anymore.
In the spirit of giving, I offer you this story: I have always been happy to pass on clothes that my children have outgrown. I save the things that are in good shape to pass on. I found a little girl who's aunt (great aunt actually) I work with that had a need for my daughters clothes. Working mom, divorced family not alot of money so the clothes were greatly appreciated. Before now we had never received hand me down clothes for my boy, we just didn't know anyone that had a boy just enough older than our son to get clothes from. Well this same lady that I work with has a daughter who has 2 sons, yesterday she sent clothes to us! We now have enough 3T and 4T clothes to just about keep my kid dressed for another 2 years, great stuff, great condition with even a few Cars and Spider Man items thrown in (to the delight of my son). I have always been big on saying "what comes around, goes around", in this case so true!
Well, this is as random as I am going to get this Tuesday, as it is now Wednesday morning I think I will go ahead and get this posted now.

That's great! For some reason our community is really big on passing on kids clothes - a friend of mine who moved here from elsewhere was so overwhelmed by the amount of clothes she received that she commented, "Does anybody ever need to BUY baby clothes around here??".
Glad you could play! Happy Tuesday!
