Welcome to My First Christmas 1969! I would have been 11 months old!
Christmas was much simpler then. It looks like my big gift of the year was a little toy piano, of course you had to make the music yourself. And see the little garbage truck? That was for my brother! In other pictures there was also the classic Fisher Price Farm, and a little plastic train set for my brother (who would have been just over 3 1/2).
The lovely lady in the picture was my Grandma (Dad’s mom). It sure was nice to see you again today Grandma, I miss you!
I love that it looks like my favorite gift was that big box one of the presents came in!
We would love to have a few more Take Me Back Tuesday folks! So dig out your old photos, scan them and pop on over to Kari’s!

sweet photos...love to look at old ones...great memories...
Those are so great! I love your comment about your grandma - made me want to call mine just to see how she was - 45 minutes later I am not able to comment. Who knew an 87 year old could have so much goin' on in her life?
How absolutely adorable!! Sometimes I long for those simpler days.
I saved that Fisher Price farm. It's one of 3 toys that I couldn't give up! :)
Love the photos! Wonderful :)
What a lovely Christmas memory!! Fantastic photos! My mom kept our farm. =D
We had that same blow up Santa!!
One day I'll have to post pictures of my metal sink....it was so dreamy!
How ADORABLE are you?! :) I had the Fisher Price Farm when I was a kid too - wish I still had it! At least my mom saved the Castle that Princess Nagger is now happily playing with! :) It was a much simpler time back then, wasn't it? ;)
