Someone asked me this week about a happy Halloween memory. Thankfully I had a picture of it!
Take me back to Halloween of 1972. That’s me on the left, at the ripe old age of 3! My brother (the tall one) was 6! This year is one of my fondest memories of Halloween. For the first time we got to have “Store Bought” costumes! How someone talked us into matching skeletons I will never know. The pumpkins are atop matching shop stools because again in Colorado it was snowing so hard my Dad was afraid to put them outside. And yes, after this picture we went out into the snow to trick or treat! (I mean, you can’t put the pumpkins out in the snow, but it’s fine to send your kids out into it! LOL)
This picture is what the kids under the skeletons looked like (just in case your were curious)!

Ahhhh, yes, snow and Halloween. We get our costumes to go over snowsuits. LOL
Cute shots!
Again - I never thought of having to trick or treat in the snow!
