Wordless Wednesday ~And An Update

So here he is, in all his red eyed glory! My friend said (in jest of course) he looks like he belongs in Twilight!

DSCN2993

We are 6 days post eye surgery to realign my Cutie Bug’s eyes from a condition know as Strabismus (post about that here). This picture was from Sunday, the red is his eyes has started to fade and as far as we can tell, the surgery did it’s job! His eyes no longer drift to the outside! Physically he is feeling fine and has no complaints about any pain or discomfort, although he doesn’t like the antibiotic cream we put in his eyes 2x’s a day very well. We visit the doctor today for a post-op check and to make sure everything is going well.

A big thanks to everyone who kept him in your thoughts and prayers during this time! I will update on the doctor visit too!

so glad everything turned out for him....my husband and brother in law had to have eye surgery when they were kids (that was back in the 60's) for lazy eyes...they have come along way since then...

Oh the sweet thing how not fun. A little girl in our church went through that and you would never know it today. Her eyes are doing great. I wish the same for your little guy.

Oh, poor sweet little guy! I'm so glad it doesn't hurt him, because it looks so painful to me! What a tough little guy! Glad he's doing better! Still praying!

I am so glad he is doing well and the surgery was a success. It seems like having to put medicine in children's eyes is the hardest kind to give. What a trooper!
