Wordless Wednesday -23 degrees

Yes, it was that cold here: -15, With a wind chill of -23. This is what Colorado kids look like when it is that cold:

But first I must bore you with the details of me!!

I am a full time work outside the home mom as a Transit Specialist with a local government's Transit Division (i.e. I work my cute hind end off doing anything they need me to do to hold things together, at a bus service).
But the main thing about me?? I am a mom of 2, a 6 year old girl my "Angel" and a 4 year old boy my "Cutie Bug" Throw an awesome Hubby into the mix, and a 13 year old Border Collie and you have me. I started to blog because of the giveaways don’t you know!! If you post buttons, and write posts you get extra entries!! But once upon a time many things changed, and I started to pay attention to these awesome bloggers that hosted giveaways!! I learned that they are real people that are going through many of the same things I do every day, and well….I learned to just Love them!!

Where in the World, and not so Wordless Wednesday

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away. Oh wait, I have already started a post like that in the last month!!

So the long and the short story is….I haven’t been anywhere this week!! So Where In the World Wednesday comes to you from our own living room! Please ignore the mess, because well…housekeeping is just not my forte so to speak (now you know one of my dirty little secrets, I pretty much suck at housekeeping)!

If you are here for Wordless Wednesday, well, this is so not going to be wordless, because I just have to give a few shout outs to people!

I won an absolutely awesome MLB (Major League Baseball for those who don’t deal with acronyms) chair from a wonderful blogger Mommy Goggles ! This win was from Guidecraft!

Well, it must have been a Guidecraft month for me, because just a few weeks later we won this awesome GUIDECRAFT Train Toy Box! Can you even believe it?? One of my favorite Review/Giveaway blogs, and just a great blog in general Night Owl Mama had a huge giveaway party and I (and my kids) were the luck winners of this awesome toy box! Hey Tricia, I think the kids love it…what do you think???

Keep Your Mind on the Wheel ~"Never Drive While InTEXTicated"

The dangers of texting or talking on a cell phone while driving are mind boggling! I think we have all seen very bad footage or heard bad stories that come from doing either of these things while you are behind the wheel of a car (or any other vehicle for that matter!)

This is a topic that is very dear to my heart as a lot of my driving time is spent with my children in the car. My 5 year old even knows not to text while driving! Whenever I get a text message ring in the car she always tells me “Mama, you know you can’t text while driving!”

Mom Sends The Msg is asking drivers to take a pledge to stop driving while distracted!

From Their website they say:

• We pledge to set firm house rules on texting and phoning while driving.
